The answer to Myth’s question is that fireworks are dangerous.
Fireworks used to be in the daylight when they first came out, and they used to be black so they could be seen in the sky. They also were used as intimidation, just as much as they were used for entertainment. Countries and rulers that had an excess amount of gun powder could afford to let out a couple for pure entertainment reasons, while at the same time sending a message to those who were considering an attack to perhaps reconsider. That’s one of the reasons why one king decided to set off fireworks for 24 hours once. It was simply pure power.
